The province of Kamphaeng Phet can be found in the upper central part of Thailand. Central Thailand's fourth-biggest province in terms of land area, Phichit shares its borders with the provinces of Tak to the west and northwest, Phitsanulok to the northeast, Phichit to the east, Nakhon Sawan to the south, and Sukhothai to the north. Sukhothai is the largest province in terms of land area in the region.
